SAIL Standards-Aligned Instructional Leadership
Target Audience: K-12 Administrators(7.5 hours of viewing content)
SAIL and SAIL 2 are comprehensive programs for working principals aimed at developing instructional leadership skills. These programs allow school administrators to experience real life situations through the use of video simulations. The short online video simulations recreate situations faced by school administrators every day. The user is asked to choose a certain course of action based on how he or she would handle the situation portrayed in the video. The program provides feedback on the possible consequences of the user’s decision. Included with each simulator is a school leadership panel discussion where other principals share their insights into the possible choices presented in the simulation.
