Leading Learning Communities
Target Audience: Mainly administrators and teachersThis online program is based on the landmark publication Leading Learning Communities: Standards for What Principals Should Know and Be Able to Do published by the National Association of Elementary School Principals. The programs primary focus is on the role of the school administrator as an instructional leader. The program modules are based on the six standards identified by NAESP as the key indicators of school quality. Each standard is discussed by a national educational expert including well known names such as Roland Barth and Richard Elmore from the Harvard Principals Center. The program also features a pertinent case study for each standard where well- known educators share their first hand experience as they have implemented each one of these standards in their school system.
