Breaking Ranks: Revisited
Target Audience: K-12 teachers and administrators
Breaking Ranks: Changing an American Institution written by NASSP and the Carnegie Foundation, is one of the most acclaimed documents of its time. Written in the late 90’s this document provided a comprehensive roadmap for middle and high school improvement initiatives. Educational Impact’s new online program, Breaking Ranks: Revisited, reviews all of the recommendations set forth in the original document to determine what strategies have proven to be successful and which have not. The program uses all 12 chapters from the original document and features an educational expert and school practitioner who address each recommendation in detail. The lineup of educational experts featured in this program is a literal "Whose Who" in Education today. This systemic approach to school reform provides a wealth of information for educational leaders and teachers who want to employ research based strategies to pave the way to successful school improvement.
